Democratising testing for everyone

What is the Q11 Method?

The Q11 Method is a series of 11 specific questions to drive quality, that focus on an understanding of the end user experience. The Q11 will help you define the requirements for your product, and ensure that your team is able to identify and write tests that will validate the customer’s expectations.

Having an effective test method is only half the job.

Sometimes, with all the will in the world there is still a lack of time and resources to get started. Don’t worry, Q11 AI is ready and waiting to help!

“Free”

I looked around a lot and I am very happy to find this for my team. I like that it is free because anyone can copy the questions. It is helpful when you are junior. Thank you

“Easy to start”

I thought it was only for exploratory testing but it helped us identify gaps in our component and integration tests. I now use it all the time and it has helped us improve the performance of our SaaS platform.

“A must-have for every team”

Our POs now map their user stories to the Q11 and the developers love it because it clarifies scope and makes it easier to understand the expectations.

Select the Level

The first step is to decide the test level you would like to apply the Q11 to. The most common levels are Acceptance, System, Integration, Unit.

Choose the Persona

Select one of three persona types to use when detailing the answers – Newbie, Experienced, Expert. The persona helps to keep the answers targeted and relevant.

Start Mapping

Start writing and mapping your requirements and tests to the eleven questions, promoting a quality-driven approach throughout your organisation.
